The experience
Guests of the Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa can enjoy a variety of different experiences, starting with mineral bathing. “The modern bathhouse comprises of two social mineral bathing experiences: mineral relaxation bathing, where the water is heated to approximately 33 degrees Celsius, complemented by an invigorating spa bathing experience in waters heated to approximately 35 degrees Celsius,” Jess says. Individuals, families and children are welcome to join the mineral bathing experience, with sessions available for up to 90 minutes. Access to both pools can be gained by using a hoist or ramp when required.
There is also sanctuary mineral bathing, which offers a truly unique mineral bathing experience and incorporates ancient cultural spa bathing traditions,” Jess says. “Balneotherapy, or mineral water bathing, draws mineral rich water directly from the source for a luxurious healing and wellness experience.”
Finally, guests to the Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa can also enjoy private mineral bathing, allowing them to enjoy the purest form of mineral wellness in the comfort of their very own private mineral bath. “This authentic mineral bathing experience is a must-do when visiting Hepburn Springs and the Daylesford region,” Jess says.
In addition to mineral bathing, the spa offers relaxing and reviving treatments and therapies including wellness-focused massages, body treatments and facial therapies.

Things to remember
It is recommended that guests of the Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa wear light footwear or slippers for their comfort. Towels and/or lockers are not included in admission and can be hired upon arrival or when booking online. Prices start at $55AUD (adult) and $30AUD (children under 16) for entry to the social bathing experience areas.
